Research areas in the field of AI include robots, language recognition, image recognition, natural language processing, expert systems, etc.
Machine Vision uses vision sensors instead of human-eyes to take photos of the surrounding environment or specific objects and then acquires digital information which would be processed by image and video processing technology, in order to achieve feature extraction, target detection, object recognition and direction, distance and speed calculation. The information achieved could greatly assist the system decision process.
BCI is a kind of electronic interface which could achieve direct communication between a biological brain and an external device. It can be classified into invasive and non-invasive BCIs according to the signal acquistion patterns. In the future, BCI will be of great significance in post-AI era. DeepBlue will devote its resource the development of this area in this area, and has already accumulated experiences in non-invasive BCI.
